📚 PYP Literacy Week — Reading is fun! 📚

On the first week of March, our PYP department celebrated a fun activity called Literacy Week! It was a joyful week filled with stories, creativity, and other engaging activities related to books and love of reading.

We began the week with a Book Exchange Event, where our students discover new books from others. It was truly wonderful to see stories being passed along.

On Tuesday, our students showcased their creativity and love for reading by dressing up as their favorite book characters during the Book Character Parade.

The Book Review Cafe on Wednesday provided a thoughtful experience to students, by having them explore a variety of books, share their reviews and ideas in a relaxed setting.

During this week, we were also able to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday with our Buddy Reading. Students are paired together across year levels to build connections.

Finally, we end our Literacy Week with a creative Poster making activity. Each class designed poster featuring their favorite book, proudly displaying their love for reading.

This Literacy Week was truly a meaningful celebration of literacy, creativity, and community. We look forward to many more reading adventures ahead! 📖
