來自美國德州的塗鴉壁畫大師 GONZO247 首度來台，
將於 10/19（日）出席個展開幕，
並受邀於台北木柵動物園創作巨幅國際壁畫。
本次展覽由 WH.LAND × GONZO247 × Eton Hill Academy 聯合策劃，並獲得休士頓市政府觀光旅遊局、台北木柵動物園、長榮航空 及 ESTYLE 藝時代畫廊 共同支持。
跨越城市與文化，
這場盛會將藝術、教育與生活美學融合為一，
以塗鴉藝術轉化城市記憶，讓藝術成為台灣日常。

藝術家介紹｜Artist introduction
GONZO247（Mario Enrique Figueroa, Jr.）出生於德州休士頓，以噴漆創作聞名。他是休士頓街頭藝術運動的先驅之一，深受嘻哈文化影響，尤其是塗鴉藝術。1990年，他創作了第一幅商業壁畫，並開啟職業藝術生涯。GONZO247長期在休士頓發展，積極推動塗鴉藝術的正名與普及。
其作品遍及墨西哥、挪威、日本、台灣等地，並在Art Basel Miami等國際平台展示。他曾與MARCO博物館和ONS活動等合作，推動全球文化交流。也曾獲得美國國會、休士頓市長的表揚，還多次獲得社區藝術獎項，作品被收藏於Lester Marks藝術收藏等機構。除了藝術創作，GONZO247還積極推動社區文化和教育，並發起了Luckie’s Pocket計畫，致力於保存歷史建築，將其轉型為社區藝術中心。
Born in Houston, Texas, GONZO247 (Mario Enrique Figueroa, Jr.) is well-known for his spray paint artwork. He is largely influenced by hip-hop culture, particularly graffiti painting, and was one of the forerunners of the Houston street art movement. He started his career as a professional artist in 1990 with his first commercial mural. For a long time, GONZO247 has been growing in Houston and has been actively working to popularize graffiti art and give it a name.
His pieces have been shown on worldwide stages such as Art Basel Miami and in Mexico, Norway, Japan, Taiwan, and other locations.In order to encourage cross-cultural interactions, he has collaborated with the MARCO Museum and ONS events. In addition, he has received numerous community art prizes and recognition from the Houston mayor and the U.S. Congress. Organizations like the Lester Marks Art Collection have acquired his pieces. Along with creating art, GONZO247 also actively supports education and community culture. They started the Luckie's Pocket initiative, which aims to preserve historic structures and turn them into community art hubs.
